Wednesday 16 Octo
ber was Restart a Heart Day and once again Fastaid joined forces with members of West Midlands Ambulance Service to train school children across the West Midlands in CPR.
Across the country hundreds of thousands of children are given the skills to save lives. We are proud to have helped train over 2,000 children in our area.
Every minute without CPR reduces the chance of survival from a cardiac arrest so the more people who know CPR, the more lives can be saved.
The good news is that from next year CPR will be part of the National Curriculum. We hope we can still help schools to fulfil this requirement
