Fastaid Pass Go and Collects £1200!
December 18th, 2009The Birmingham and Black Country Community First Responder group, Fastaid, has just been awarded £1,200 from the Birmingham City Council Longbridge and Northfield Community Chest fund. The fund was setup to recognise and support local community groups and their generous
donation will go towards kitting out new CFRs in the Northfield and Longbridge areas.
Fastaid Chairman, Tim Atherton, said: “We are very grateful to the council for this donation. It is the result of lots of hard work by our team in South Birmingham, led by Marc Waters. We hope to train another 50 CFRs in the first half of 2010 so this money will be an essential springboard to being
able to do this”
